Morning Pickup Chennai at 6.00 Am and Drop at Night 9.00 Pm – Vellore Sight seeing Visit.
Golden Temple: Sripuram-Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple is the largest Golden temple in the world, with over 1.5 tons of gold used. All the gold work was done by artisans specializing in temple art using gold. Every single detail was manually created, including converting the gold chunks into gold foils and then mounting on the gold foils on copper. Gold foil from 9 layers to 15 layers has been mounted on the etched copper plates.
Fort: The Fort is one of the monuments in Vellore. Inside the Fort the Jalakandeswarar Temple is a very fine example of Vijayanagar architecture.
Goverment Museum: uys, this Museum was opened to the public in 1985. It consists of objects of art, archaeology, pre-history, weapons, sculptures, bronzes, wood carvings, handicrafts, numismatics, philately, botany, geology and zoology.
Amirthi Zoological Park: Amirthi zoological park is situated under the Javadu Hills of Tellaiacross Amirthi River which is 25 kms away from vellore. It also is atourism spot. This zoo logical park was started in the year 1967 October. The area of the park is 25 hectares and one can find beautiful waterfalls. There are also different kinds of birds and animals. Swings, Seesaw etc., are there for children to play numerous kinds of herbal plants and trees and sandal wood trees also grow here. There are 2 rest houses and five members can stay one dormitory. There is a meditating hall where one can have full concentration and be in serenity.
